Pokud čtete můj blog, tak už jste si asi všimli, že restaurace Melange se zde neobjevuje poprvé. Toto je asi moje čtvrtá spolupráce s touto skvělou restaurací. Neříkám to kvůli spolupráci, ale tato restaurace opravdu stojí za to!
Jak jsem napsala, toto byla čtvrtá návštěva Melange Restaurants. Ale vlastně poprvé na High Barnet, protože předešlé tři návštěvy byly v restauraci na Crouch End.
Interiér je stejně skvělý jako na Crouch End a interiér je právě jedna z věcí, co na Melange miluju! Pak je to samozřejmě jejich jídlo, jehož cena je průměrná, ale samotné to jídlo je více než top. Za takové peníze dostanete naprosto skvěle vypadající jídlo, které chutná ještě lépe. Nikdy se mi nestalo, že by mi v Melange něco nechutnalo, nebo že bych si na něco stěžovala. Jo a drinky? Ty jsou taky naprosto luxusní.
Tentokrát jsem vzala kamarádku Stáňu, přičemž k pití jsem obě sáhly po Aperolu. Jako předkrm jsem zvolila tatarák z hovězí, který byl ze speciální denní nabídky a Stáňa carpaccio z tuňáka. K hlavnímu chodu jsem si dala konfitované kachní stehno se zelím a Stáňa si dala rybu ze speciální denní nabídky. A naposled jako dezert, já nemohla odolat čokoládové pěně a Stáňa zvolila "jen" espresso martini vedle druhého drinku Pink Lady. Já zvolila jako druhý drink French Martini.
Opakuji se, ale návštěva v Melange zase naprosto dokonalá. Jídlo báječné, obsluha skvělá, doopravdy příjemně strávené odpoledne, ani se nám nechtělo pryč. Tak pokud budete blízko Crouch End nebo High Barnet, jedině tam!

As I wrote, this was my fourth visit at Melange Restaurant. But this was the first visit at High Barnet, because the previous three visits were at the restaurant at Crouch End.
The interior is as great as at Crouch End and the interior is one of the things I love about Melange! Next to it I obviously looooove their food, the price is average, but the food itself is more than top. For this money you get absolutely great looking food that tastes even better. It has never happened to me that I didn't like anything in there or I have never complained about anything. Oh, and drinks? They are also absolutely luxurious.
This time I took my friend Stana, and we both got Aperol Spritz for drink. As a starter I chose the beef tartar, which was from the specials of the day and Stáňa chose tuna carpaccio. As a main course I had a confit duck leg with cabbage and she had a fish from the specials. For a desert I couldn't resist chocolate mousse and Stana chose "only" espresso martini next to the second drink - Pink. I chose French Martini as my second drink.
I will repeat myself, but the visit at Melange was so perfect again. Food great, service great, really pleasantly spent Sunday afternoon, as we didnt even want to leave. So if you're near Crouch End or High Barnet, go only there!
